Warranty

Cassette is proud to provide a lifetime warranty on all sunglasses. We've designed and built our sunglasses to last and last. This warranty covers manufacturing defects as well as broken, lost, or stolen product.

Please email Warranties@CassetteOptics.com with photos of the defect(s) and a proof of purchase.  Proof of purchase can be a reference to an order number from our website or a receipt from one of our authorized dealers.

Processing of warranties will depend on availability of identical or similar product.

Warranty claims submitted within 90 days of purchase

Any warranty claims submitted because of manufacturing defects within 90 days of original purchase will be processed free of charge for our customers inside the United States. International customers will be asked to pay $20 for shipping. When possible we will do our best to offer options for a repair rather than a replacement. This helps minimize our impact on waste and increases the life cycle of our products.

Loss/Theft Protection Program AND/OR any warranty claims submitted after 90 days from date of purchase

When complete replacement of your Cassettes becomes necessary because an item has been lost or stolen, a shipping and processing fee of $15-$25 (depending on the model) will be assessed for domestic orders and $40 for international orders. This is also our protocol for warranty claims submitted later than 90 days since purchase. The flat rate fee is an estimation of our costs for processing, shipping, and handling to help us continue to offer awesome products for years to come. There is no limit to the number of times we offer replacement sunglasses. These costs will be assessed on a per pair basis.

Cassette will pay for return shipping on all warranties processed inside the domestic United States. International warranties will be required to cover their own shipping for returned product.

Cassette reserves the right to evaluate all warranty claims on a case by case basis and respond at our discretion.

Returns Policy

You may return items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (Shipping is non-refundable unless during a promotional period). We'll also pay the return domestic shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).  International orders will be required to pay for their own return shipping costs and refunds will not be issued on the original order's shipping cost.

PLEASE NOTE:  Items being returned must be in NEW condition, meaning no scratches or dings on frame or lenses, not excessively worn and should be returned clean.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.  If you do not have an account, please shoot us an email Orders@CassetteOptics.com

Please note: We do not accept returns of Prescription orders or Sale Items


Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Domestic shipments within the United States will be processed and fulfilled within 24-48 hours and will arrive within 2-7 business days from the time of placing your order.

Please note that USPS shipments do not include Liability Insurance, for domestic or international packages. When shipping internationally we highly recommend choosing DHL.

International shipments outside the United States will be processed and fulfilled within 72 hours and typically arrive within 14 to 28 days. Some customs processes can delay orders up to as long as 10 weeks.

Cassette is not responsible for any customs or duty charges.  Customer will be responsible for any additional charges.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based.  To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
